The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The crowd rose to their feet as Agostinho Guedes kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Perivaldo Torres. That made the score 1-0 in the 3 minute of play. Perivaldo Torres showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elias Damasceno, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. A collision led to Jardim América FC getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Walmir Araújo hit a great ball. 11 minutes into the match, Agostinho Guedes notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Jardim América FC's Perivaldo Torres. Perivaldo Torres was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Elias Damasceno struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Perivaldo Torres didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for 卡納里尼奧 FC. Perivaldo Torres took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eliseu Alagoano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 24th match minute, Jardim América FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcel Gonçalves to maneuver through the defense. The throw-in from Vítor da Costa in the 27th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Jardim América FC's Marcel Gonçalves. 卡納里尼奧 FC's João Vítor Guimarães played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kauan Monteiro in the 35th minute of play. Elias Damasceno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Perivaldo Torres having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marcel Gonçalves during the 39th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 40th match minute, Jardim América FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcel Gonçalves to maneuver through the defense. 卡納里尼奧 FC's João Vítor Guimarães played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristiano Senna in the 43rd minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Elias Damasceno made a kick off. Elias Damasceno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 56 minutes into the game, Elias Damasceno cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Perivaldo Torres was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 62 minutes into the match, Jardim América FC's goal looked a bit too open when Elias Damasceno came free, but Perivaldo Torres reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eliseu Alagoano in the 70th minute of play forced Jardim América FC's goalkeeper Perivaldo Torres to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 74th minute, Cristiano Senna made a precise shot to the right of João Vítor Guimarães. 卡納里尼奧 FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-2. 卡納里尼奧 FC made a substitution. Armandinho Pombal replaced Régis Vides. Perivaldo Torres showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elias Damasceno in the 78th minute of the match. Cristiano Senna's late challenge caught a 卡納里尼奧 FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cristiano Senna helped the player get up and apologised. After 80 played minutes Jardim América FC got a freekick which was hit by Cristiano Senna. If Elias Damasceno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of 卡納里尼奧 FC booed when Jardim América FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anselmo Meireles didn't get a good kick on the ball. Perivaldo Torres didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Elias Damasceno went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-2 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elias Damasceno in the 94th minute of play forced Jardim América FC's goalkeeper Perivaldo Torres to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 卡納里尼奧 FC's João Vítor Guimarães proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save 卡納里尼奧 FC from getting a goal against them. When the referee ended the match the 卡納里尼奧 FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
