Flavian Garcon could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Leonardo Paz made a huge save. After the first half Palmares Futebol Clube were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Túlio Maravilha made a kick off. Leonardo Paz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adil Magaud in the 53rd minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 55 minutes, João Vítor Sena took a quick shot and it went in 1-4 without a chance for Sofyane Valognes to make any attempt to save it. After a rather tough play, Palmares Futebol Clube's Ricardo Barreto got a free kick in the 58th minute. After 59 played minutes Palmares Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Ricardo Barreto.
