The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nilmar Freitas during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Luiz Gustavo Leão stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. DENVER™'s Delfim Bastos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wiliam Moraes in the 56th minute of play. Irreal Madrid's Edmundo Mineiro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Irreal Madrid from getting a goal against them. In the 60th minute, Wiliam Moraes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 64 minutes into the game, Nilmar Freitas recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Edmundo Mineiro. After 68 played minutes DENVER™ got a freekick which was hit by Adrianinho Negri. 72 minutes into the match, Irreal Madrid's goal looked a bit too open when Nilmar Freitas came free, but Edmundo Mineiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
