Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Arí Motta started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Didi Gaúcho in the 4th minute of play forced Sport Club Mavericks's goalkeeper Amadeu Prado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 9 minutes, Arí Motta took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Amadeu Prado to make any attempt to save it. In the 12th minute Davi Rossi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Severino Alcântara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arí Motta hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. In the 15th minute, AF CERRADO's Artur Sergipano dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Severino Alcântara stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zézinho Neto's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. 20 minutes into the game, Didi Gaúcho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Amadeu Prado was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 24 minutes into the match, AF CERRADO's goal looked a bit too open when Davi Rossi came free, but Severino Alcântara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sport Club Mavericks's Alfredão Mesquita got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 38 minutes into the game, Ian Marinho was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sport Club Mavericks's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave AF CERRADO the free kick. In the 38th minute, Ian Marinho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 40th minute, Nestor Cordeiro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Severino Alcântara came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by Sport Club Mavericks's Zézinho Neto. But to his dismay, Zézinho Neto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Mateus Novaes took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 46th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Severino Alcântara. AF CERRADO's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Davi Rossi to strike the kick off in the second half. Davi Rossi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Severino Alcântara made a huge save. When Alfredão Mesquita fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sport Club Mavericks's protests and gave Alfredão Mesquita a yellow card for diving instead. After 53 played minutes Sport Club Mavericks got a freekick which was hit by Alfredão Mesquita. A collision led to Sport Club Mavericks getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Ian Marinho hit a great ball. Severino Alcântara took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexsandro Lira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Amadeu Prado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Artur Sergipano, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Amadeu Prado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arí Motta in the 63rd minute of the match. Amadeu Prado was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Davi Rossi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sport Club Mavericks's supporters rose to their feet, but Davi Rossi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Severino Alcântara breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 78th minute, Artur Sergipano left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AF CERRADO fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-1. After 81 minutes of play Sport Club Mavericks's Ian Marinho was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Ian Marinho kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Amadeu Prado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arí Motta in the 85th minute of the match. 86 minutes into the game, Zézinho Neto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sport Club Mavericks's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave AF CERRADO the free kick. The supporters of AF CERRADO booed when Sport Club Mavericks was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zézinho Neto didn't get a good kick on the ball. 87 minutes into the match, Sport Club Mavericks's goal looked a bit too open when Ezequiel Melo came free, but Amadeu Prado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. AF CERRADO's Severino Alcântara proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save AF CERRADO from getting a goal against them. In the 95th match minute, Sport Club Mavericks was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by José Carlos Mangueira to maneuver through the defense. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. AF CERRADO had played much better football throughout.
