After a rather tough play, AF CERRADO's Artur Sergipano got a free kick in the 6th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Arí Motta in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Thibault Mamardashvili prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 11 played minutes JFSP got a freekick which was hit by Aníbal Pirani. In the 13th minute, Vambola Probach left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The JFSP fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Severino Alcântara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aníbal Pirani in the 24th minute of play. After having played for 25 minutes, Vambola Probach managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. JFSP's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vambola Probach was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Severino Alcântara stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aníbal Pirani's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. When JFSP's Vambola Probach in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye AF CERRADO's goalie prevented a goal. Thibault Mamardashvili took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ezequiel Melo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 40 minutes, Vambola Probach took a quick shot and it went in 4-0 without a chance for Severino Alcântara to make any attempt to save it. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Arí Motta to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Didi Gaúcho got free with Thibault Mamardashvili in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. JFSP made a substitution. Ismael Neiva replaced Aníbal Pirani. A collision led to AF CERRADO getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Arí Motta hit a great ball. Severino Alcântara took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sílvio Luís Ceresso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 69th minute, Ismael Neiva made a precise shot to the right of Severino Alcântara. AF CERRADO's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. After some careless play in the AF CERRADO defense, Sílvio Luís Ceresso kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Severino Alcântara. The AF CERRADO fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Severino Alcântara should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sílvio Luís Ceresso in the 79th minute of play forced AF CERRADO's goalkeeper Severino Alcântara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 81st minute, Sílvio Luís Ceresso left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The JFSP fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. The supporters of JFSP booed when AF CERRADO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Artur Sergipano didn't get a good kick on the ball.
