Cafu Linares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Severino Marquez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Severino Marquez in the 15th minute of play forced OTTO FC - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Cafu Linares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to OTTO FC - FSCMZ getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Manuel Pinho hit a great ball. When Severino Marquez came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the MUSHIBA FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Severino Marquez couldn't finish the play. After some careless play in the OTTO FC - FSCMZ defense, Severino Marquez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cafu Linares. The OTTO FC - FSCMZ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cafu Linares should have stopped the shot. OTTO FC - FSCMZ's Cafu Linares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Severino Marquez in the 28th minute of play. Cafu Linares didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when MUSHIBA FC's Severino Marquez shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-3 in the ordered_time% minute. 33 minutes into the game, MUSHIBA FC's Severino Marquez nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cafu Linares made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. After a defensive mix-up in OTTO FC - FSCMZ's zone, Severino Marquez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cafu Linares came out of the goal and Severino Marquez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-6 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Severino Marquez stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, OTTO FC - FSCMZ's Cássio Peixoto got a free kick in the 51st minute. Severino Marquez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Severino Marquez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Cafu Linares made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as Severino Marquez kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Cafu Linares. That made the score 0-7 in the 57 minute of play. Cafu Linares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Severino Marquez in the 64th minute of the match. MUSHIBA FC's Régis Mineiro was substituted for Fernandão Schmidt. The supporters of OTTO FC - FSCMZ booed when MUSHIBA FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arnaldo Mattos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Germano Vasconcelos hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Cafu Linares made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Severino Marquez sent off a good shot on target. Cafu Linares was a little too slow when Severino Marquez got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 91st minute. The score was now 0-8. Cafu Linares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Severino Marquez in the 94th minute of play. After 95 played minutes MUSHIBA FC got a freekick which was hit by Arnaldo Mattos. MUSHIBA FC played a much better game than OTTO FC - FSCMZ and deserved their victory. The OTTO FC - FSCMZ players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
