The supporters of A A Arizona booed when Rathmore Lime Tree was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Grégory Castello didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 9 played minutes A A Arizona got a freekick which was hit by Fabinho Sanches. Sofyane Valognes was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Chicão Freire showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 11 minute of play. Flavian Garcon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Flavian Garcon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 24 minutes had been played when some careless play by A A Arizona's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Hervé Annette was slow to take the kick. During this time Rathmore Lime Tree's players had a chance to rest. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Adil Magaud managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rathmore Lime Tree's supporters rose to their feet, but Adil Magaud was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rodolfo Siqueira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 27 minutes into the match, Rathmore Lime Tree's goalkeeper Sofyane Valognes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fabinho Sanches. After having played for 33 minutes, Adil Magaud managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rathmore Lime Tree's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adil Magaud was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 35th minute Chicão Freire shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sofyane Valognes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 37 minutes into the match, A A Arizona's goal looked a bit too open when Adil Magaud came free, but Rodolfo Siqueira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Flavian Garcon in the 42nd minute of play forced A A Arizona's goalkeeper Rodolfo Siqueira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Rathmore Lime Tree's Benoît Lamarre was substituted for Grégory Castello. The wind increased when Adil Magaud made the kick off in the second half. When Flavian Garcon came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Rathmore Lime Tree fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Flavian Garcon couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Rathmore Lime Tree's Bilal Hédin got a free kick in the 55th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Rathmore Lime Tree's Flavian Garcon slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Rodolfo Siqueira. That made the score 1-1 after 59 minutes of play. Rathmore Lime Tree were furious when Paul-Émile Brien was red carded, 64 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Sofyane Valognes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Simão Sena went, in the 82nd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Sofyane Valognes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vágner Pitta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sofyane Valognes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chicão Freire, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Hervé Annette sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Karim Cosme blasted a shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rodolfo Siqueira having to make a save.
