Perivaldo Torres showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Severino Marquez, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. 15 minutes had been played when some careless play by Jardim América FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Cacá Ramalho was slow to take the kick. During this time MUSHIBA FC's players had a chance to rest. The corner led MUSHIBA FC's Cacá Ramalho to fire away a dangerous shot which Perivaldo Torres despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. A nice corner shot did that Wágner Urbano got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Chiquinho do Nascimento quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. If Luan Leme had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jardim América FC's Anselmo Meireles suffered a sore thigh after 42 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Luan Leme charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Luan Leme the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jardim América FC made a substitution. João Ceresso replaced Anselmo Meireles. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Severino Marquez stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Jardim América FC's Perivaldo Torres got control of the ball when Severino Marquez tried to sneak it across the goal line. Perivaldo Torres made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Severino Marquez sent off a good shot on target. Chicão de Moraes's late challenge caught a MUSHIBA FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Chicão de Moraes helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Jardim América FC getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Chicão de Moraes hit a great ball. In the 95th match minute, Jardim América FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcel Gonçalves to maneuver through the defense. Jardim América FC's Perivaldo Torres played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Severino Marquez in the 96th minute of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. MUSHIBA FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
