The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2nd minute Luiz Gustavo Leão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marquinhos Xavier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Irreal Madrid's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Wiliam Moraes in the 3rd minute. Wiliam Moraes made a great header on Irreal Madrid's corner, it was just that Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ's Marquinhos Xavier managed to reach the ball for a save. Marquinhos Xavier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luiz Gustavo Leão in the 5th minute of play. 10 minutes into the game, Luiz Gustavo Leão cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Marquinhos Xavier was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Marquinhos Xavier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aílton Magalhães in the 12th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aílton Magalhães in the 15th minute of play forced Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ's goalkeeper Marquinhos Xavier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luiz Gustavo Leão in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marquinhos Xavier prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Edmundo Mineiro was a little too slow when Pedro Paulo Salles got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 20th minute. The score was now 1-1. In the 25th minute Pedro Paulo Salles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edmundo Mineiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 29 minutes into the game, Gugu Silva recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Edmundo Mineiro. Gugu Silva showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. In the 33rd minute, Jonathan Seco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 38 played minutes Gugu Silva rounded Irreal Madrid's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 3-1. Gugu Silva could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Edmundo Mineiro made a huge save. In the 41st minute, Dito Monteiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 43 minutes into the match, Irreal Madrid's goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Paulo Salles came free, but Edmundo Mineiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Irreal Madrid getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Wiliam Moraes hit a great ball. The supporters of Irreal Madrid booed when Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonathan Seco didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gugu Silva was the one to do the kick off. Edmundo Mineiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gugu Silva in the 55th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luiz Gustavo Leão in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marquinhos Xavier saved Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ from getting behind. Luís Fabiano Dracena recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 62nd minute of the game. One of Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Irreal Madrid:s goal. Wiliam Moraes walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luiz Gustavo Leão in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marquinhos Xavier saved Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ from getting behind. Wiliam Moraes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Marquinhos Xavier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Irreal Madrid's Dito Monteiro got a free kick in the 80th minute. In the 81st minute of the match Jailson Gonçalves sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Edmundo Mineiro skillfully saved the ball. Irreal Madrid's Edmundo Mineiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gugu Silva in the 85th minute of play. Aílton Magalhães fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marquinhos Xavier having to interfere. Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Irreal Madrid for a fine match.
