When Severino Marquez came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the MUSHIBA FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Severino Marquez couldn't finish the play. Pedro Cearense kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. 17 minutes into the match, Gil Meira had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Severino Alcântara. AF CERRADO's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gil Meira was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. In the 22nd match minute, MUSHIBA FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benê da Costa to maneuver through the defense. 24 minutes into the match, MUSHIBA FC's Gil Meira sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Severino Alcântara narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Gil Meira fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored MUSHIBA FC's protests and gave Gil Meira a yellow card for diving instead. After 25 played minutes MUSHIBA FC got a freekick which was hit by Gil Meira. After a rather tough play, AF CERRADO's Pedro Cearense got a free kick in the 26th minute. Severino Alcântara didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Severino Marquez went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. In the 34th minute Severino Marquez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Severino Alcântara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Severino Marquez struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Severino Alcântara didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for MUSHIBA FC. The AF CERRADO players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. MUSHIBA FC were winning 0-3.

Régis Sampaio charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Régis Sampaio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 53 played minutes MUSHIBA FC got a freekick which was hit by Régis Sampaio. Chiquinho do Nascimento showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arí Motta in the 54th minute of the match. In the 56th minute Severino Marquez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Severino Alcântara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 60 minutes into the game, MUSHIBA FC's Severino Marquez nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Severino Alcântara made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Severino Marquez in the 65th minute of play forced AF CERRADO's goalkeeper Severino Alcântara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Severino Marquez might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Severino Alcântara. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Severino Marquez ran back to his position shaking his head. Severino Alcântara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Severino Marquez in the 67th minute of play. If Severino Marquez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Severino Alcântara made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Severino Marquez sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, AF CERRADO's Artur Sergipano got a free kick in the 70th minute. 71 minutes into the match, Severino Marquez notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of AF CERRADO's Severino Alcântara. Severino Alcântara was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Severino Marquez came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the MUSHIBA FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Severino Marquez couldn't finish the play. Ezequiel Melo got in the 78th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Chiquinho do Nascimento handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. In the 79th minute, Michel Ramos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 86th minute, MUSHIBA FC's Gil Meira dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-6. Gil Meira kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in AF CERRADO's zone, Severino Marquez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Severino Alcântara came out of the goal and Severino Marquez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 94 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for AF CERRADO! Severino Marquez shot the penalty kick right outside the post. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. MUSHIBA FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
