Spectators: 37 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Arí Motta started the match with the kick off. After 2 played minutes AF CERRADO got a freekick which was hit by Nestor Cordeiro. After 3 played minutes, Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ's Jailson Gonçalves shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Severino Alcântara came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ reached it. When the match had gone on for 5 minutes, Ezequiel Melo took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Marquinhos Xavier to make any attempt to save it. Marquinhos Xavier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arí Motta in the 8th minute of the match. Jailson Gonçalves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 14 minutes into the game, Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ's Jailson Gonçalves nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Severino Alcântara made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. After a defensive mix-up in Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ's zone, Didi Gaúcho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marquinhos Xavier came out of the goal and Didi Gaúcho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Arí Motta took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marquinhos Xavier. Marquinhos Xavier dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Pedro Paulo Salles scored 2-2 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Severino Alcântara, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With an all-out effort, AF CERRADO's Marquinhos Xavier threw himself towards the right post 31 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Didi Gaúcho, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the last second Marquinhos Xavier throw himself and got hold of the ball when Didi Gaúcho in the 32ndth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. With a little luck, Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ's Marquinhos Xavier got control of the ball when Didi Gaúcho tried to sneak it across the goal line. AF CERRADO were awarded a corner in the 37th minute after Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Nestor Cordeiro took the corner. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ's goalie and right to Wiliam Rosa. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. In the 40th minute, Gugu Silva left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. After 42 played minutes Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Conrado Britto. The score stood at 3-3 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gugu Silva to make the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Didi Gaúcho notched a goal, 4-3, to the right of Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ's Marquinhos Xavier. Marquinhos Xavier was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Gugu Silva who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 56thth minute tested the skills of Severino Alcântara when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ's Conrado Britto got a free kick in the 58th minute. Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ's Marquinhos Xavier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arí Motta in the 59th minute of play. Severino Alcântara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jailson Gonçalves in the 65th minute of play. In the 67th minute Ezequiel Melo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marquinhos Xavier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Artur Sergipano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Marquinhos Xavier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Wiliam Rosa fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AF CERRADO's protests and gave Wiliam Rosa a yellow card for diving instead. Wiliam Rosa kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. After having played for 75 minutes, Artur Sergipano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AF CERRADO's supporters crossed their fingers, but Artur Sergipano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Pedro Paulo Salles's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Severino Alcântara was relentless in the 77th minute of the game. Artur Sergipano kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. The long shot by Jailson Gonçalves in the 82nd minute really tested Severino Alcântara's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After 82 minutes, Maicon Gonçalves mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AF CERRADO and the Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 82 played minutes AF CERRADO got a freekick which was hit by Maicon Gonçalves. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Artur Sergipano managed to get in a good position for a shot. AF CERRADO's supporters rose to their feet, but Artur Sergipano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marquinhos Xavier breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
