Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Valdir Magalhães started the match with the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Geovanni Sabóia during the 3rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of JFSP booed when OTTO FC - FSCMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Geovanni Sabóia didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gláuber Fonseca took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 4th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Cafu Linares. OTTO FC - FSCMZ's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Valdir Magalhães could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Thibault Mamardashvili made a huge save. After 8 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for OTTO FC - FSCMZ! Cafu Linares had in the 10thth minute some difficulties stopping Gláuber Fonseca's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 13 minutes into the game, Vambola Probach cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Cafu Linares was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Cafu Linares came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by JFSP's Vambola Probach. But to his dismay, Vambola Probach quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. OTTO FC - FSCMZ's Cafu Linares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vambola Probach in the 24th minute of play. Cafu Linares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vambola Probach, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 27 minutes into the game, one of OTTO FC - FSCMZ:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 33rd minute, Aníbal Pirani ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cafu Linares was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. After having played for 36 minutes, Vambola Probach managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. JFSP's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vambola Probach was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Aníbal Pirani took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cafu Linares. Cafu Linares dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. A collision led to JFSP getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Vambola Probach hit a great ball. After the first half JFSP were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

0-6 became the score in the 53rd minute when Vambola Probach elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Vambola Probach got a fine position in front of goal ttaking advantage of the opportunity to rumble in 0-7 in the right cross in the 56th match minute before Cafu Linares had time to react. Cafu Linares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aníbal Pirani in the 65th minute of play. Pedro Paulo Peixoto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cafu Linares having to interfere. JFSP's Ismael Neiva was substituted for Aníbal Pirani. The crowd rose to their feet as JFSP's Ismael Neiva slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Cafu Linares. That made the score 0-8 after 81 minutes of play. OTTO FC - FSCMZ's Edgard Vasconcelos got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Sílvio Luís Ceresso managed to get in a good position for a shot. JFSP's supporters rose to their feet, but Sílvio Luís Ceresso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cafu Linares breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. OTTO FC - FSCMZ's Cafu Linares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ismael Neiva in the 92nd minute of play. In the 97th minute, Gláuber Fonseca got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. JFSP's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
