After 28 played minutes, Rathmore Lime Tree's Hervé Annette shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ernani Oliveira came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Rathmore Lime Tree reached it. Marco Dias blasted a shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sofyane Valognes having to make a save. With a little luck, Rathmore Lime Tree's Sofyane Valognes got control of the ball when Marco Dias tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ernani Oliveira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adil Magaud in the 33rd minute of the match. Mauro Antunes hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. 37 minutes had been played when some careless play by ≮王者归来≯News at 11's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Hervé Annette was slow to take the kick. During this time Rathmore Lime Tree's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Rathmore Lime Tree's Hervé Annette to fire away a dangerous shot which Ernani Oliveira despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Ernani Oliveira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adil Magaud, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.
