Leonardo Paz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ. João Vítor Sena sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Gugu Silva made the kick off in the second half. Pedro Paulo Salles got his second yellow card in the match during the 51st minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Palmares Futebol Clube would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
