Edmundo Mineiro was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Jardim América FC's Wágner Urbano got a free kick in the 20th minute. The throw-in from Iuri Sousa in the 23rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Irreal Madrid's Benjamim Neto. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wiliam Moraes in the 24th minute of play forced Jardim América FC's goalkeeper Perivaldo Torres to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 28 minutes into the match, Irreal Madrid's goal looked a bit too open when Cristiano Senna came free, but Edmundo Mineiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Perivaldo Torres stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aílton Magalhães's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. Cristiano Senna received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Edmundo Mineiro came out and tried to block the shot, but Cristiano Senna slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 36th minute. Edmundo Mineiro was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Cristiano Senna showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-0 in the 47 minute of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cristiano Senna to make the kick off.
