The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in ≮王者归来≯News at 11's zone, Cássio Peixoto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ernani Oliveira came out of the goal and Cássio Peixoto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 30 minutes into the match, ≮王者归来≯News at 11's goal looked a bit too open when Edgard Vasconcelos came free, but Ernani Oliveira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 32ndth minute of the game Glauco Abraão who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but OTTO FC - FSCMZ's Cafu Linares was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Marco Dias took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cafu Linares. Cafu Linares dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. 40 minutes into the game, ≮王者归来≯News at 11's Marco Dias nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cafu Linares made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Valdir Magalhães was the one to do the kick off. Marco Dias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Cafu Linares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 57th minute Valdir Magalhães shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ernani Oliveira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Manuel Pinho fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored OTTO FC - FSCMZ's protests and gave Manuel Pinho a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to OTTO FC - FSCMZ getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Manuel Pinho hit a great ball. Marco Dias struck a weak shot in the 64th minute.
