After a rather tough play, OTTO FC - FSCMZ's Germano Vasconcelos got a free kick in the 5th minute. In the 11th minute Valdir Magalhães shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Delfim Bastos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodrigo Velasco in the 13th minute of play forced OTTO FC - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Cafu Linares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 15th minute, Guilherme Abud left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The DENVER™ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. After 21 played minutes OTTO FC - FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by João Augusto Mendes. Guilherme Abud's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cafu Linares read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. Valdir Magalhães sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 35 minutes, Guilherme Abud took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Cafu Linares to make any attempt to save it. After a rather tough play, DENVER™'s Adrianinho Negri got a free kick in the 38th minute. João Augusto Mendes charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed João Augusto Mendes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of DENVER™ booed when OTTO FC - FSCMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. João Augusto Mendes didn't get a good kick on the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Valdir Magalhães stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. OTTO FC - FSCMZ's Dênis Prata shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 60th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Delfim Bastos but with some difficulty. DENVER™ made a substitution. Caio de Mendonça replaced Wanderson Passos. After a rather tough play, OTTO FC - FSCMZ's Fernando Pirani got a free kick in the 70th minute. In the 71st match minute, OTTO FC - FSCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dênis Prata to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgard Vasconcelos in the 72nd minute of play forced DENVER™'s goalkeeper Delfim Bastos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. DENVER™'s Gino Carneiro took a good shot, in the 80th minute, which hit the crossbar above Cafu Linares's head, and flew over the goal. OTTO FC - FSCMZ's manager was very thankful on the sidelines as his team had managed to keep the ball out of the net after some serious pressure by DENVER™. An unexpectedly hard shot by Waldir Romero in the 89th minute of play forced OTTO FC - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Cafu Linares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 90 minutes into the match, Márcio Guedes notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of OTTO FC - FSCMZ's Cafu Linares. Cafu Linares was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 94 minutes into the match, Edgard Vasconcelos dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Delfim Bastos, 4-1. DENVER™ were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of OTTO FC - FSCMZ for a fine match.
