Adil Magaud blasted a shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marquinhos Xavier having to make a save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Flavian Garcon in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marquinhos Xavier saved Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ from getting behind. The throw-in from Luís Eduardo Silva in the 21st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Rathmore Lime Tree's Johan Dufrenne. Hervé Annette received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Marquinhos Xavier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marquinhos Xavier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Flavian Garcon in the 32nd minute of the match. Marquinhos Xavier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Flavian Garcon, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. In the 37th minute Rathmore Lime Tree were awarded a corner. Hervé Annette went to the cornerflag to take it. Bakary Guinaudeau kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. In the 38th minute of the match Marquinhos Brasil sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sofyane Valognes skillfully saved the ball. Marquinhos Xavier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Flavian Garcon in the 41st minute of play. Luís Eduardo Silva made in the 42nd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Gugu Silva immediately put the ball in play. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Gugu Silva made the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice moves Gugu Silva could shoot a difficult shot in the 55th minute, which Sofyane Valognes however easily saved by the left post. Marquinhos Xavier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Flavian Garcon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sofyane Valognes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gugu Silva in the 69th minute. Marquinhos Xavier came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by Rathmore Lime Tree's Adil Magaud. But to his dismay, Adil Magaud quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Flavian Garcon struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Marquinhos Xavier didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rathmore Lime Tree. Flavian Garcon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gugu Silva was extremely unlucky when he, in the 93rd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. 95 minutes into the match, Karim Cosme notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ's Marquinhos Xavier. Marquinhos Xavier was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
