In the 8th minute Silverio Jacob shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tiit Jaas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 9thth minute of the game Kalle Künnapuu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Franja Dorada's Valentin Licerio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Franja Dorada's Valentin Licerio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Franja Dorada from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Maximum Power's Ediberto Queiroz got a free kick in the 15th minute. In the 24th minute, Kuuno Mari got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Bülent Ruge had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tiit Jaas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silverio Jacob in the 37th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silverio Jacob in the 38th minute of play forced Maximum Power's goalkeeper Tiit Jaas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Benigno Rito kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Tiit Jaas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bülent Ruge, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Maximum Power's Tiit Jaas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bülent Ruge in the 46th minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

With an all-out effort, Franja Dorada's Tiit Jaas threw himself towards the right post 50 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Silverio Jacob, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Armando Rozarius in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tiit Jaas saved Maximum Power from getting behind. 55 minutes into the match, Franja Dorada's goal looked a bit too open when Kuuno Mari came free, but Valentin Licerio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With an all-out effort, Franja Dorada's Tiit Jaas threw himself towards the right post 57 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Silverio Jacob, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kuuno Mari in the 61st minute of play forced Franja Dorada's goalkeeper Valentin Licerio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Stathis Koulouris hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Igor Tartalo in the 66th minute of play forced Maximum Power's goalkeeper Tiit Jaas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kaido Narusson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Valentin Licerio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. Franja Dorada's Silverio Jacob got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee felt a red card was in order, 76 minutes into the game, when Serafino Musko put in a rough tackle. In a very dangerous position, a player in Maximum Power fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 76th minute. Penalty! Silverio Jacob received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Tiit Jaas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 87 minutes, Armando Rozarius managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Franja Dorada's supporters crossed their fingers, but Armando Rozarius was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Angel Bessone sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Silverio Jacob charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Silverio Jacob the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Maximum Power booed when Franja Dorada was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silverio Jacob didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 97 minutes, Bülent Ruge managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Franja Dorada's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bülent Ruge was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Franja Dorada supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Franja Dorada would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
