Vladimiro Matai didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marcel da Rocha went, in the 11th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Vladimiro Matai made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Simone Spano in the 15th minute of play. After some careless play in the ADCR Loreto United FC defense, Marcel da Rocha kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vladimiro Matai. The ADCR Loreto United FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vladimiro Matai should have stopped the shot. In the 19thth minute of the game Marcel da Rocha who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ADCR Loreto United FC's Vladimiro Matai was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Vladimiro Matai didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marcel da Rocha went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. The supporters of ADCR Loreto United FC booed when Red Devils was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tanek Szel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Braulio Gartxot didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 29th minute, which inside left pole to 1-3. Braulio Gartxot took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sálvio Ribeiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 34 minutes into the match, Red Devils's goalkeeper Braulio Gartxot had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alfredo Curado. In the 36th minute Sálvio Ribeiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Braulio Gartxot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Red Devils getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Tanek Szel hit a great ball. 44 minutes into the match, Red Devils's Marcel da Rocha sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vladimiro Matai narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Vladimiro Matai came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by Red Devils's Marcel da Rocha. But to his dismay, Marcel da Rocha quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-4 lead.

The wind increased when Marcel da Rocha made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Cesário Abrantes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sálvio Ribeiro in the 55th minute of play forced Red Devils's goalkeeper Braulio Gartxot to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, ADCR Loreto United FC's Aldaír Correia got a free kick in the 57th minute. The audience was convinced that Marcel da Rocha's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vladimiro Matai was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. ADCR Loreto United FC's Alfredo Curado quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Marcel da Rocha, made in the 60th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marcel da Rocha in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vladimiro Matai prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 92nd minute, Alfredo Curado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Red Devils's Braulio Gartxot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sálvio Ribeiro in the 93rd minute of play. In the 95th minute ADCR Loreto United FC were awarded a corner. Cesário Abrantes went to the cornerflag to take it. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Red Devils eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
