Kentucky Mustangs:s Stanford Peters showed great skill when he stopped 秦西星:s penalty. 0-4 came in the 33rd minute when 秦西星 all by himself managed to get straight through the defense and place the ball into the net to the right of Stanford Peters. René Stam took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tracy Brunson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Stanford Peters showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cayetano Esdras in the 39th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

The wind increased when Tracy Brunson made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st match minute, Las Palmas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 秦西星 to maneuver through the defense. Tracy Brunson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 55 minutes into the match, Las Palmas's goal looked a bit too open when Gao Lang Feng came free, but René Stam reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Victoriano Honrio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Stanford Peters made a huge save. Stanford Peters took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 秦西星, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 63 minutes into the match, Kentucky Mustangs's goalkeeper Stanford Peters had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Victoriano Honrio. The audience thought a goal was coming when 秦西星 got free with Stanford Peters in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Kentucky Mustangs's Stanford Peters proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save Kentucky Mustangs from getting a goal against them. René Stam showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tracy Brunson, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Stanford Peters made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 秦西星 in the 76th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Las Palmas's Fidel Frederik got a free kick in the 77th minute. Stanford Peters was a little too slow when 秦西星 got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 82nd minute. The score was now 0-5. Stanford Peters showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 秦西星, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Tony Freitas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kentucky Mustangs's supporters rose to their feet, but Tony Freitas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. René Stam breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 91st minute Tony Freitas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but René Stam saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Las Palmas's goalkeeper René Stam, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Victoriano Honrio kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Stanford Peters. That made the score 0-6 in the 94 minute of play. When the match was over Las Palmas could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Kentucky Mustangs throughout the match.
