Edin Džeko hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Amadeo Rufo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albin Nilsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albin Nilsson in the 22nd minute of play forced Nova Erechim - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Amadeo Rufo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nova Erechim - FSCMZ's Amadeo Rufo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albin Nilsson in the 23rd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Albin Nilsson in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Amadeo Rufo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Arvid Carlsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amadeo Rufo having to interfere. Amadeo Rufo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julien Staffelbach in the 28th minute of play. Julien Staffelbach took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Amadeo Rufo. Amadeo Rufo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Julien Staffelbach received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Amadeo Rufo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 35 minutes into the match, Nova Erechim - FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Willy Witarya came free, but Amadeo Rufo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 37 minutes had been played when some careless play by Nova Erechim - FSCMZ's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Marbjörn Garpsson was slow to take the kick. During this time Linköpings AIK's players had a chance to rest. In the 40th minute, Albin Nilsson made a precise shot to the right of Amadeo Rufo. Nova Erechim - FSCMZ's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. Amadeo Rufo was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-7.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Arvid Carlsson was the one to do the kick off. Albin Nilsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 55th minute, Linköpings AIK's Arvid Carlsson ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Amadeo Rufo. Amadeo Rufo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-8. Marcelinho Maciel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Jimmy Olsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Albin Nilsson might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Amadeo Rufo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Albin Nilsson ran back to his position shaking his head. Amadeo Rufo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albin Nilsson in the 69th minute of the match. Willy Witarya sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Linköpings AIK made a substitution. Joakim Mikaelsson replaced Willy Witarya. Amadeo Rufo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arvid Carlsson in the 81st minute of the match. Amadeo Rufo made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Julien Staffelbach sent off a good shot on target. Amadeo Rufo was a little too slow when Arvid Carlsson got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 91st minute. The score was now 0-10. In the 94th minute, Albin Nilsson fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Joakim Mikaelsson got free with Amadeo Rufo in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match was over Linköpings AIK could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Nova Erechim - FSCMZ throughout the match.
