Vladimiro Matai took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gao Lang Feng, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Stanford Peters was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Gao Lang Feng hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. After 35 played minutes Kentucky Mustangs got a freekick which was hit by Marshall Swanson. Stanford Peters showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cesário Abrantes, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Stanford Peters showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sálvio Ribeiro in the 39th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tracy Brunson during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Josué Lameiras hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sálvio Ribeiro to make the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as ADCR Loreto United FC's Sálvio Ribeiro slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Stanford Peters. That made the score 1-2 after 53 minutes of play. 56 minutes into the match, Cesário Abrantes dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Stanford Peters, 1-3. When Jack Agnes came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Kentucky Mustangs fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jack Agnes couldn't finish the play. 70 minutes into the match, Kentucky Mustangs's goalkeeper Stanford Peters had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cesário Abrantes. Josué Lameiras kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Sálvio Ribeiro kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Stanford Peters. That made the score 1-5 in the 80 minute of play. Kentucky Mustangs's Stanford Peters proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Kentucky Mustangs from getting a goal against them. With an all-out effort, ADCR Loreto United FC's Stanford Peters threw himself towards the right post 86 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Sálvio Ribeiro, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cesário Abrantes in the 87th minute of play forced Kentucky Mustangs's goalkeeper Stanford Peters to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vladimiro Matai stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Wilford Griggs's shot from short distance in the 97th minute.
