Dromes FC's Donato Sedeni managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Lajos Fenyves in the 12 minute of the game. If Raimundo Guimarães had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Franco Murillo struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Pál Mester didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dromes FC. The Dromes FC fans' excitement grew in the 34th match minute when Dromes FC's Raimundo Guimarães looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Dromes FC's Atilano Benat played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabien Van Daelen in the 36th minute of play. Humberto Lleir received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Pál Mester tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 39 minutes, Raimundo Guimarães made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Red Devils's Pál Mester tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 44 minutes into the match, Humberto Lleir had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pál Mester. Red Devils's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Humberto Lleir was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Raimundo Guimarães to make the kick off. With an all-out effort, Dromes FC's Pál Mester threw himself towards the right post 52 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Raimundo Guimarães, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Raimundo Guimarães in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pál Mester saved Red Devils from getting behind. In the 59th minute, Raimundo Guimarães reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Pál Mester. The goal made the score 0-4. The audience thought a goal was coming when Robin Eriksson got free with Pál Mester in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Red Devils booed when Dromes FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Donato Sedeni didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 72nd minute of the match David Villa sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Atilano Benat skillfully saved the ball. Raimundo Guimarães might have been able to make a better finish in the 76th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pál Mester. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Raimundo Guimarães ran back to his position shaking his head. 77 minutes into the match, Red Devils's goalkeeper Pál Mester had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Raimundo Guimarães. When Zsombor Karsai came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Red Devils fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zsombor Karsai couldn't finish the play. Raimundo Guimarães received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Pál Mester came out and tried to block the shot, but Raimundo Guimarães slotted it home off the left post making it 0-5 in the 83rd minute. Atilano Benat made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabien Van Daelen in the 88th minute of play. Red Devils's Pál Mester played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raimundo Guimarães in the 92nd minute of play. Atilano Benat showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabien Van Daelen, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. When the match was over Dromes FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Red Devils throughout the match.
