After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Arvid Carlsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Linköpings AIK's supporters rose to their feet, but Arvid Carlsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vencel Mezei breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Márton Soós sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bertil Albäck in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jimmy Olsson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 65 minutes, Arvid Carlsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jimmy Olsson came out of the goal and Bertil Albäck tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arvid Carlsson in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vencel Mezei saved Pénzügyőr SE from getting behind. Pénzügyőr SE's Vencel Mezei played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arvid Carlsson in the 86th minute of play. 87 minutes into the game, Julien Staffelbach cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Vencel Mezei was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 91st minute of the match Linköpings AIK got a corner. Pénzügyőr SE's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jan-Erik Lundqvist ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Jan-Erik Lundqvist got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Vencel Mezei quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Erben Kiewit got free with Jimmy Olsson in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
