In the 17th minute of the match, Julien Staffelbach got a very nice opportunity to score, but Thiago Leiva was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arvid Carlsson in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Thiago Leiva saved LEBEG Team from getting behind. Jimmy Olsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arturo Zapolski in the 28th minute of play. Julien Staffelbach recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 31 minutes of play, Linköpings AIK's Albin Nilsson made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Thiago Leiva was left in no man's land by his defense there! LEBEG Team's Thiago Leiva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julien Staffelbach in the 34th minute of play. In the 35thth minute of the game Julien Staffelbach who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but LEBEG Team's Thiago Leiva was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The corner led LEBEG Team's Bolli Boll to fire away a dangerous shot which Jimmy Olsson despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After some careless play in the Linköpings AIK defense, Jo-Wilfried Zaaboub kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jimmy Olsson. The Linköpings AIK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jimmy Olsson should have stopped the shot.
