The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Josué Lameiras charged in rather forcefully in the 2nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Josué Lameiras the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 2 played minutes ADCR Loreto United FC got a freekick which was hit by Josué Lameiras. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arturo Zapolski in the 3rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vladimiro Matai saved ADCR Loreto United FC from getting behind. 10 minutes into the match, Delmiro Etxekopar had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vladimiro Matai. ADCR Loreto United FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Delmiro Etxekopar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. In the 14th minute Bolli Boll shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vladimiro Matai saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alfredo Curado could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Thiago Leiva made a huge save. Vladimiro Matai showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bolli Boll, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. 18 minutes had been played when some careless play by ADCR Loreto United FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Bolli Boll was slow to take the kick. During this time LEBEG Team's players had a chance to rest. After 20 minutes of play, LEBEG Team's Arturo Zapolski made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vladimiro Matai was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 24th minute LEBEG Team were awarded a corner. Bolli Boll went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Bolli Boll almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but ADCR Loreto United FC's Vladimiro Matai did a great save. When LEBEG Team's Delmiro Etxekopar in the 24th minute got a chance for a shot 24th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye ADCR Loreto United FC's goalie prevented a goal. Alfredo Curado could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Thiago Leiva made a huge save. The supporters of LEBEG Team booed when ADCR Loreto United FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cesário Abrantes didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 30th minute, Arturo Zapolski made a precise shot to the right of Vladimiro Matai. ADCR Loreto United FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. After 37 played minutes ADCR Loreto United FC got a freekick which was hit by Josué Lameiras. André Madruga hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, LEBEG Team's Bolli Boll tried to score from far away in the 40th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 42nd minute, Bolli Boll ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vladimiro Matai was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. 45 minutes into the match, ADCR Loreto United FC's goal looked a bit too open when Arturo Zapolski came free, but Vladimiro Matai reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vladimiro Matai stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arturo Zapolski's shot from short distance in the 46th minute. Sálvio Ribeiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thiago Leiva having to interfere. After the first half LEBEG Team were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sálvio Ribeiro was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute Sálvio Ribeiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thiago Leiva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Jo-Wilfried Zaaboub had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vladimiro Matai showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bolli Boll, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. After having played for 84 minutes, Sálvio Ribeiro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ADCR Loreto United FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sálvio Ribeiro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 86 minutes into the match, ADCR Loreto United FC's goalkeeper Vladimiro Matai had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Arturo Zapolski. The LEBEG Team supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing LEBEG Team would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
