The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 7 minutes into the match, Red Devils's goal looked a bit too open when Marco van Zijderveld came free, but Claude Bermudez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zsombor Karsai hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Tracy Brunson might have been able to make a better finish in the 9th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Claude Bermudez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tracy Brunson ran back to his position shaking his head. Red Devils's Claude Bermudez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tracy Brunson in the 9th minute of play. Téo Lima's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Titus Fernandez firmly grabbed it by the left post. Claude Bermudez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brian Loomis in the 19th minute of the match. Tracy Brunson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Claude Bermudez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Téo Lima could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Titus Fernandez made a huge save. Jose Cunningham hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. In the 45th minute, Bombai Bombis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kentucky Mustangs's Titus Fernandez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 48th minute of the match, managed to save Kentucky Mustangs from getting a goal against them.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tracy Brunson to make the kick off. Téo Lima took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Titus Fernandez. Titus Fernandez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Zsombor Karsai hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. After 64 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Red Devils! 1-1 came through a penalty shot after 66 played minutes, when Kentucky Mustangs:s M. Ramdhan Rombot calmly waited for Red Devils:s goalkeeper to move before he rolled in the ball by the right post. After a defensive mix-up in Red Devils's zone, Marco van Zijderveld stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Claude Bermudez came out of the goal and Marco van Zijderveld tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 70th minute, Elek Elek hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Claude Bermudez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tracy Brunson, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Kentucky Mustangs were awarded a corner in the 75th minute after Red Devils's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. M. Ramdhan Rombot took the corner. 78 minutes into the match, Red Devils's Téo Lima sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Titus Fernandez narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 79th minute, Téo Lima ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Titus Fernandez was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. After having played for 83 minutes, Téo Lima managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Red Devils's supporters crossed their fingers, but Téo Lima was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Károly Baranyai was shown his second yellow card after 85 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 86th minute, Károly Baranyai hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match clock showed 91 minutes, the score became 4-1 when Téo Lima sped through Kentucky Mustangs's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Titus Fernandez. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Red Devils fans cheered their team off the field, for while Kentucky Mustangs had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
