Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Nicklas Karlsson started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Nicklas Karlsson received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Wilhelm Ekeroth came out and tried to block the shot, but Nicklas Karlsson slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 3rd minute. In the 10th minute, Nicklas Karlsson made a precise shot to the right of Wilhelm Ekeroth. Linköping FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Wilhelm Ekeroth showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicklas Karlsson in the 12th minute of the match. Wilhelm Ekeroth didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 15th minute, which inside left pole to 3-0. Wilhelm Ekeroth didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nicklas Karlsson went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. In the 20th minute, Nicklas Karlsson fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Wilhelm Ekeroth, passed just outside the right post. 22 minutes into the match, COSMOS's Nicklas Karlsson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Wilhelm Ekeroth narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Nicklas Karlsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nicklas Karlsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nicklas Karlsson might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Wilhelm Ekeroth. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nicklas Karlsson ran back to his position shaking his head. When the match had gone on for 32 minutes, Nicklas Karlsson put it in 5-0 from a short distance just to the right of Wilhelm Ekeroth. In the 35th minute Nicklas Karlsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilhelm Ekeroth saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 37 minutes of play, COSMOS's Isaac Verduin made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Wilhelm Ekeroth was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 44th minute of the match COSMOS got a corner. Linköping FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tomasz Mroczynski ran over to the corner to take the kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Isaac Verduin got free with Wilhelm Ekeroth in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

COSMOS's Zenon Kuszczak was substituted for Napoleon Skorny. The wind increased when Valentin Groth made the kick off in the second half. After 54 minutes of play, COSMOS's Nicklas Karlsson made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Wilhelm Ekeroth was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Linköping FC getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Orvar Lund hit a great ball. Wilhelm Ekeroth came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by COSMOS's Isaac Verduin. But to his dismay, Isaac Verduin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-0. After having played for 62 minutes, Nicklas Karlsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. COSMOS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nicklas Karlsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Wilhelm Ekeroth didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Isaac Verduin went, in the 64th minute, to the upper right corner, 9-0 was the resulting score. Wilhelm Ekeroth came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by COSMOS's Azli Lim. But to his dismay, Azli Lim quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 10-0. COSMOS made a substitution. Andrzej Juskowiak replaced Nicklas Karlsson. 72 minutes into the match, Isaac Verduin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Wilhelm Ekeroth. Linköping FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Isaac Verduin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 11-0. After a defensive mix-up in Linköping FC's zone, Andrzej Juskowiak stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wilhelm Ekeroth came out of the goal and Andrzej Juskowiak tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The COSMOS fans' excitement grew in the 82nd match minute when COSMOS's Andrzej Juskowiak looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 12-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. A collision led to COSMOS getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Emil Kapera hit a great ball. When Andrzej Juskowiak came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the COSMOS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Andrzej Juskowiak couldn't finish the play. Ryszard Cempa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Wilhelm Ekeroth tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wilhelm Ekeroth didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ryszard Cempa went, in the 91st minute, to the upper right corner, 13-0 was the resulting score.
