The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 27 minutes into the game, Marcelo Bermund recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Noel Seide. Marcelo Bermund showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. A collision led to Haiti getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Ernso Constant hit a great ball. 34 minutes into the game, Ernso Constant was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Haiti's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lomitas the free kick. Gilberto Manilan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 37 minutes into the game, Felix Lluciano threw the ball into play from the sideline. Haiti's Saint Jean Pierre quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Haiti's defense didn't have a chance, in the 42nd minute, when Robustiano Bemabe scored to the left of an out of position Noel Seide, making the score, 3-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Marcelo Bermund to strike the kick off in the second half. Noel Seide showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eusebio Orlo in the 54th minute of the match. Jean Claude Ulysse was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 56 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Haiti's Jean Claude Ulysse got a free kick in the 56th minute. When Gilberto Manilan came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Lomitas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gilberto Manilan couldn't finish the play. 65 minutes into the game, Marcelo Bermund cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Noel Seide was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 68th minute, Marcelo Bermund left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lomitas fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. After some careless play in the Haiti defense, Eusebio Orlo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Noel Seide. The Haiti fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Noel Seide should have stopped the shot. Lomitas made a substitution. Gitano Abeijon replaced Robustiano Bemabe.
