In the 15th minute Facundo Cadaval shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hasan Resat saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hasan Resat made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 16th minute of play. When Lautaro Mancebo came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Mexico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lautaro Mancebo couldn't finish the play. 28 minutes into the match, Painting Pyramids FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Tafalla came free, but Hasan Resat reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 31 minutes into the match, Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Önder Cebi. In the 38th minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hasan Resat saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Painting Pyramids FC booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lorenzo Cazalla didn't get a good kick on the ball. Veysel Ercan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Dante Lacasa made a huge save. Lorenzo Cazalla kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Veysel Ercan, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. The Painting Pyramids FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Mexico were winning 0-1.

Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Önder Cebi in the 54th minute of play. Lautaro Mancebo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Hasan Resat made a huge save. The throw-in from Felix Luque in the 60th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Painting Pyramids FC's Wu Jie Zhan. Mexico were awarded a corner in the 62th minute after Painting Pyramids FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Joel Gaona took the corner. The supporters of Mexico booed when Painting Pyramids FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Önder Cebi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hasan Resat made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 66th minute. Önder Cebi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dante Lacasa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play. The corner led Painting Pyramids FC's Veysel Ercan to fire away a dangerous shot which Dante Lacasa despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. With a little luck, Painting Pyramids FC's Hasan Resat got control of the ball when Alberto Tafalla tried to sneak it across the goal line.
