After a rather tough play, THANDERA® FCCMZ's Serafim Proença got a free kick in the 3rd minute. After 7 played minutes AFK Petržalka got a freekick which was hit by Erik Jirka. Serafim Proença got a throw-in 11 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Lukas De Smet. When Claudinei Linares came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the THANDERA® FCCMZ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Claudinei Linares couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kent Sjöö in the 14th minute of play forced THANDERA® FCCMZ's goalkeeper Emanuel Van Hoeij to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eduard Ješo's late challenge caught a THANDERA® FCCMZ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eduard Ješo helped the player get up and apologised. In the 15th match minute, AFK Petržalka was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eduard Ješo to maneuver through the defense. THANDERA® FCCMZ's supporters stood up full of expectation in the 17th minute of the game, when Serafim Proença after an extraordinary solo performance found himself with a golden opportunity in front of AFK Petržalka's goal. Serafim Proença was unfortunally a little to anxious and the ball went outside the goal. 19 minutes into the match, AFK Petržalka's goal looked a bit too open when Claudinei Linares came free, but Štefan Semeno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Štefan Semeno made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Claudinei Linares sent off a good shot on target. Lukas De Smet recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Kent Sjöö managed to get in a good position for a shot. AFK Petržalka's supporters rose to their feet, but Kent Sjöö was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emanuel Van Hoeij breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 36 played minutes THANDERA® FCCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Silas Vasconcelos. When Kent Sjöö came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the AFK Petržalka fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kent Sjöö couldn't finish the play. In the 41st minute of the match THANDERA® FCCMZ got a corner. AFK Petržalka's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Eriberto Arósio ran over to the corner to take the kick. Eduard Ješo was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 47 minutes into the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Claudinei Linares made a kick off. Štefan Semeno showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claudinei Linares, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Thanks to some nice moves Kent Sjöö could shoot a difficult shot in the 60th minute, which Emanuel Van Hoeij however easily saved by the left post. Lukas De Smet struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Štefan Semeno didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for THANDERA® FCCMZ. When Dávid Strelec fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AFK Petržalka's protests and gave Dávid Strelec a yellow card for diving instead. In the 65th match minute, AFK Petržalka was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dávid Strelec to maneuver through the defense. Silas Vasconcelos lost his temper 72 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 71st minute of the game. One of THANDERA® FCCMZ:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of AFK Petržalka:s goal. When the match had been going on for 73 minutes, AFK Petržalka's Kent Sjöö got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Emanuel Van Hoeij. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kent Sjöö got free with Emanuel Van Hoeij in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Kent Sjöö sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lukas De Smet blasted a shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Štefan Semeno having to make a save. Štefan Semeno showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eriberto Arósio, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Emanuel Van Hoeij showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dávid Strelec, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. The supporters of THANDERA® FCCMZ booed when AFK Petržalka was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erik Jirka didn't get a good kick on the ball. Štefan Semeno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lukas De Smet in the 90th minute of the match. When Kent Sjöö fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AFK Petržalka's protests and gave Kent Sjöö a yellow card for diving instead. Kent Sjöö hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Štefan Semeno stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marquinhos de Lara's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. Lukas De Smet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Štefan Semeno tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. THANDERA® FCCMZ were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing AFK Petržalka to leave the ground with a draw.
