In the 9th minute, Kent Sjöö made a precise shot to the right of Samuel Asteri. ARAUCARIA FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. 14 minutes into the match, ARAUCARIA FC's goal looked a bit too open when Kent Sjöö came free, but Samuel Asteri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Samuel Asteri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kent Sjöö in the 15th minute of play. AFK Petržalka were awarded a corner in the 17th minute after ARAUCARIA FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Eduard Ješo took the corner. The corner went over the outstretched arms of ARAUCARIA FC's goalie and right to Kent Sjöö. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. ARAUCARIA FC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. The audience was convinced that Kent Sjöö's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Samuel Asteri was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. AFK Petržalka's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kent Sjöö was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dávid Strelec received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Samuel Asteri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Kent Sjöö took the ball and in the 51 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Samuel Asteri. Samuel Asteri dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Kent Sjöö's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Samuel Asteri read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. 61 minutes into the match, Kent Sjöö dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Samuel Asteri, 0-4. After 64 minutes of play, AFK Petržalka's Kent Sjöö made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Samuel Asteri was left in no man's land by his defense there! ARAUCARIA FC's Samuel Asteri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dávid Strelec in the 68th minute of play. Gil Mendonça kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Samuel Asteri didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when AFK Petržalka's Kent Sjöö shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-6 in the ordered_time% minute. In the 81st minute, Dávid Strelec fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Kent Sjöö blasted a shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Samuel Asteri having to make a save. Through an outstanding action, after 83 minutes, Samuel Asteri successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post.
