FC Urzicuța's Sandu Vlaicu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mauro Couto in the 12th minute of play. İrfan Attar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of FC Urzicuța booed when AFK Petržalka was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Peter Hlinka didn't get a good kick on the ball. Adam Hrdina was out of position in the 22 minute of play, and İrfan Attar capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. İrfan Attar really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. FC Urzicuța's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Cristi Chivu in the 26th minute. The audience was convinced that Aurel Beldeanu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Adam Hrdina was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aurel Beldeanu got free with Adam Hrdina in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 44 minutes into the match, İrfan Attar notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of AFK Petržalka's Adam Hrdina. Adam Hrdina was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
