After a rather tough play, San Ciro Utd's Reynaldo Txurio got a free kick in the 11th minute. Kent Sjöö didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 1-0 via right post in the game's 13th minute. AFK Petržalka's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! In the 18th match minute, AFK Petržalka was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Samuel Kolník to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Kent Sjöö kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Epifanio Beila. That made the score 2-0 in the 23 minute of play. Kent Sjöö's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Epifanio Beila read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kent Sjöö in the 31st minute of play forced San Ciro Utd's goalkeeper Epifanio Beila to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The player immediately received a yellow card. 53 minutes in the game Dávid Hancko did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Silvester Jendrišák. Adam Hrdina came out of the goal and Marco Van Der Taelen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. San Ciro Utd's Epifanio Beila played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kent Sjöö in the 72nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kent Sjöö in the 74th minute of play forced San Ciro Utd's goalkeeper Epifanio Beila to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 75 minutes into the match, San Ciro Utd's goal looked a bit too open when Kent Sjöö came free, but Epifanio Beila reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dávid Strelec fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Epifanio Beila having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Marco Van Der Taelen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Adam Hrdina was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marco Van Der Taelen got free with Adam Hrdina in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
