An unexpectedly hard shot by Vítězslav Kršek in the 15th minute of play forced AFK Petržalka's goalkeeper Adam Hrdina to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 19 minutes AFK Petržalka's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Yavuz Selim Baransel who took care of the corner kick. Filip Punišić might have been able to make a better finish in the 22nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Adam Hrdina. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Filip Punišić ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind AFK Petržalka's goalkeeper Adam Hrdina, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. David Leenknecht hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. 42 minutes into the match, AFK Petržalka's goal looked a bit too open when Yavuz Selim Baransel came free, but Adam Hrdina reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Miroslav Matis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd match minute, Rohozec was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yavuz Selim Baransel to maneuver through the defense. Kent Sjöö could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but David Velecký made a huge save. Campos Ramiro struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. A nice corner shot did that Campos Ramiro got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Adam Hrdina quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Adam Hrdina made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Campos Ramiro in the 65th minute of play. Adam Hrdina stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Campos Ramiro's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. The audience was convinced that Campos Ramiro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Adam Hrdina was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. Yavuz Selim Baransel made a great header on Rohozec's corner, it was just that AFK Petržalka's Adam Hrdina managed to reach the ball for a save. Rohozec's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
