Jurupeba FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 18th minute, when Håkan Wennersten scored to the left of an out of position Fabrício Falcão, making the score, 1-1. When Evlogi Dzhumayski fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Jurupeba FC's protests and gave Evlogi Dzhumayski a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Jurupeba FC's Evlogi Dzhumayski got a free kick in the 21st minute. With a little luck, Jurupeba FC's Fabrício Falcão got control of the ball when Håkan Wennersten tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Monky FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Felipe Tajo should have stopped the shot. 45 minutes into the match, Monky FC's goal looked a bit too open when Thorkil Husig came free, but Felipe Tajo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 45 played minutes Monky FC got a freekick which was hit by Andres Musko. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Beto Breckenfeld to make the kick off. The Monky FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Jurupeba FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Jurupeba FC.
