Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Thorkil Husig did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Sandu Vlaicu 17 minutes into the match. In the 19th minute, İrfan Attar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, FC Urzicuța's Aurel Beldeanu got a free kick in the 25th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Beto Breckenfeld got free with Sandu Vlaicu in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jurupeba FC's Fabrício Falcão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by İrfan Attar in the 31st minute of play. In the 32nd minute, İrfan Attar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fabrício Falcão was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Fabrício Falcão took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from İrfan Attar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thorkil Husig struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Sandu Vlaicu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jurupeba FC. FC Urzicuța's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Cristi Chivu in the 44th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

A collision led to Jurupeba FC getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Martin Minchev hit a great ball. 55 minutes into the match, FC Urzicuța's Aurel Beldeanu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fabrício Falcão narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Thorkil Husig received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Sandu Vlaicu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 86th minute Martin Minchev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sandu Vlaicu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fabrício Falcão didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sorin Bârlă went, in the 90th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-4 was the resulting score. 95 minutes into the match, Jurupeba FC's goal looked a bit too open when Apolo Mingo came free, but Fabrício Falcão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The FC Urzicuța players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
