Marco Van Der Taelen ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to San Ciro Utd getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Ionuț Corbu hit a great ball. Through an outstanding action, after 11 minutes, Epifanio Beila successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Marco Van Der Taelen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Marco Van Der Taelen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Anthimos Kousouridis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Epifanio Beila made a huge save. If Marco Van Der Taelen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Zisis Vourlis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marco Van Der Taelen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Epifanio Beila showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wit Zapolski in the 27th minute of the match. Marco Van Der Taelen took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zisis Vourlis. Zisis Vourlis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Πυργετός Fc's goalkeeper Zisis Vourlis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 41st match minute, Πυργετός Fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ilias Gouziotis to maneuver through the defense. San Ciro Utd's Marco Van Der Taelen got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Wit Zapolski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marco Van Der Taelen made a kick off. In the 51st minute, Ahmet Orhan Bakırcı hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Πυργετός Fc's Zisis Vourlis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marco Van Der Taelen in the 52nd minute of play. In the 53rd minute of the match San Ciro Utd got a corner. Πυργετός Fc's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Bruno Conti ran over to the corner to take the kick. 58 minutes into the game, Ilias Gouziotis threw the ball into play from the sideline. San Ciro Utd's Bruno Conti quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Zisis Vourlis was out of position in the 61 minute of play, and Marco Van Der Taelen capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Marco Van Der Taelen really showed his touch with that goal: 0-4. Zisis Vourlis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marco Van Der Taelen in the 65th minute of play. Ilias Gouziotis made in the 68th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by San Ciro Utd's Bruno Conti. In the 70th minute, Marco Van Der Taelen left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The San Ciro Utd fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. A sloppy throw-in by Horacio Honesto in the 74th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Πυργετός Fc's Ilias Gouziotis. In the 77th minute, Anthimos Kousouridis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Epifanio Beila was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-5. Zisis Vourlis stood somewhat misplaced when Marco Van Der Taelen came free in front of goal and shot 1-6 to the left of him in the 83 minute. Marco Van Der Taelen might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Zisis Vourlis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marco Van Der Taelen ran back to his position shaking his head. Epifanio Beila showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anthimos Kousouridis in the 93rd minute of the match. In the 95th minute, Wit Zapolski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. San Ciro Utd's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
