The audience thought a goal was coming when Husref Musemić got free with Rogério Ceni in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some careless play in the jumpitrumpi defense, Teodoro Hartz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marko Kraljević. The jumpitrumpi fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marko Kraljević should have stopped the shot. Rogério Ceni made an important save on a dangerous shot by Husref Musemić in the 38th minute.
