Su Ke Xiang was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 13 minutes into the match, Los Galacticos's goal looked a bit too open when Dávid Strelec came free, but Su Ke Xiang reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dávid Strelec took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Su Ke Xiang. Su Ke Xiang dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. If Nikola Krstović had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Su Ke Xiang showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nikola Krstović, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Nikola Krstović scored 0-4 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Su Ke Xiang, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some careless play in the Los Galacticos defense, Nikola Krstović kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Su Ke Xiang. The Los Galacticos fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Su Ke Xiang should have stopped the shot. 32 minutes into the match, Nikola Krstović notched a goal, 0-6, to the right of Los Galacticos's Su Ke Xiang. Su Ke Xiang was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Los Galacticos's Su Ke Xiang played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nikola Krstović in the 36th minute of play. Nikola Krstović might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Su Ke Xiang. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nikola Krstović ran back to his position shaking his head. Su Ke Xiang took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nikola Krstović, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 46th match minute, AFK Petržalka was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dávid Strelec to maneuver through the defense. 48 minutes into the match, AFK Petržalka's goal looked a bit too open when Fan Si Quan came free, but Tim Hebel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half AFK Petržalka were leading 0-7. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Los Galacticos's Shen Guang was substituted for Fan Si Quan. 53 minutes into the match, Los Galacticos's goalkeeper Su Ke Xiang had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nikola Krstović. When the match had gone on for 54 minutes, Nikola Krstović took a quick shot and it went in 0-8 without a chance for Su Ke Xiang to make any attempt to save it. 59 minutes into the game, Peng Feng Yi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Los Galacticos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave AFK Petržalka the free kick. After 59 played minutes Los Galacticos got a freekick which was hit by Peng Feng Yi. Nikola Krstović could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Su Ke Xiang made a huge save. Su Ke Xiang was out of position in the 71 minute of play, and Nikola Krstović capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Nikola Krstović really showed his touch with that goal: 0-9. Nikola Krstović recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Liu Guang Sha kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Su Ke Xiang made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Nikola Krstović sent off a good shot on target. In the 81st minute, Nikola Krstović reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Su Ke Xiang. The goal made the score 0-10. Tim Hebel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Shen Guang in the 87th minute of the match. Su Ke Xiang made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Nikola Krstović sent off a good shot on target. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. AFK Petržalka had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
