In the 6thth minute of the game Nikola Krstović who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Alfonso Ugarte's Ovando Cabada was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ovando Cabada was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ovando Cabada stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nikola Krstović's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. After 19 minutes, Nikola Krstović made it 0-4 with a short kick to the right side. Alfonso Ugarte's Ovando Cabada tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Ovando Cabada came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by AFK Petržalka's Nikola Krstović. But to his dismay, Nikola Krstović quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. Ovando Cabada showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nikola Krstović in the 25th minute of the match. AFK Petržalka's Adam Hrdina played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Garaile Opacio in the 27th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 30 minutes, Nikola Krstović put it in 0-6 from a short distance just to the right of Ovando Cabada. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nikola Krstović in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ovando Cabada saved Alfonso Ugarte from getting behind. In the 33rdth minute of the game Nikola Krstović who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Alfonso Ugarte's Ovando Cabada was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 34th minute, Dávid Strelec left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AFK Petržalka fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-7. After 36 minutes of play, AFK Petržalka's Nikola Krstović made it 0-8 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ovando Cabada was left in no man's land by his defense there! 40 minutes into the match, Alfonso Ugarte's goal looked a bit too open when Nikola Krstović came free, but Ovando Cabada reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 41 played minutes Alfonso Ugarte got a freekick which was hit by Roberto-Carlos da Silva. Roland Treceño hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Garaile Opacio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Alfonso Ugarte's Ovando Cabada got control of the ball when Nikola Krstović tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ovando Cabada was a little too slow when Dávid Strelec got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 56th minute. The score was now 0-10. 60 minutes into the match, AFK Petržalka's Nikola Krstović sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ovando Cabada narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After taking down the ball on AFK Petržalka's corner Guillermo Checa fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Ovando Cabada quite easily take care of the ball. Ovando Cabada made an important save on a dangerous shot by Atilano Marcones in the 62nd minute. In the 63rd minute, Dávid Strelec reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ovando Cabada. The goal made the score 0-11. With a little luck, Alfonso Ugarte's Ovando Cabada got control of the ball when Nikola Krstović tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ovando Cabada made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Nikola Krstović sent off a good shot on target. 75 minutes into the match, Alfonso Ugarte's goalkeeper Ovando Cabada had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nikola Krstović. When AFK Petržalka's Nikola Krstović in the 77th minute got a chance for a shot 77th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Nikola Krstović could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Ovando Cabada made a huge save. In the 90thth minute of the game Nikola Krstović who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Alfonso Ugarte's Ovando Cabada was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 91st minute, Dávid Strelec left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AFK Petržalka fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-12. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Nikola Krstović managed to get in a good position for a shot. AFK Petržalka's supporters rose to their feet, but Nikola Krstović was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ovando Cabada breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match was over AFK Petržalka could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Alfonso Ugarte throughout the match.
