In the 11th minute Marteinn Palermo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cenk Senih saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 21st minute, Krystian Żmuda got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Atlético Unión Florida booed when FC GILSAA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Peder Haaby didn't get a good kick on the ball. Saverio Atarratze might have been able to make a better finish in the 24th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cenk Senih. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. After taking down the ball on Atlético Unión Florida's corner Marteinn Palermo fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Cenk Senih quite easily take care of the ball. Miguel Baumer struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Saul Erauso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC GILSAA. The audience thought a goal was coming when Krystian Żmuda got free with Cenk Senih in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in FC GILSAA's zone, Krystian Żmuda stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cenk Senih came out of the goal and Krystian Żmuda tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Cristian Ted made the kick off in the second half. In the 50th match minute, Atlético Unión Florida was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Saverio Atarratze to maneuver through the defense. Ali Lindekilde kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match.
