After 20 played minutes FC GILSAA got a freekick which was hit by Peder Haaby. Cenk Senih stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ahmet Efe Suheyl's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ahmet Efe Suheyl in the 23rd minute of play forced FC GILSAA's goalkeeper Cenk Senih to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cenk Senih showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ahmet Efe Suheyl, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. A throw-in in the 33rd minute of the game was made by Sebastian Hindsberg with Hans Smitt as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Alisson Becker made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Miguel Baumer sent off a good shot on target. A sloppy throw-in by Sebastian Hindsberg in the 37th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Real Juniors's Zula Furtok. When Real Juniors's Ahmet Efe Suheyl in the 39th minute got a chance for a shot 39th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. FC GILSAA's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. 45 minutes into the game, Real Juniors's Ahmet Efe Suheyl nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cenk Senih made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Ahmet Efe Suheyl recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cristian Ted made a kick off. If Miguel Baumer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Torkild Skøt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alisson Becker having to interfere. Cenk Senih stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ahmet Efe Suheyl's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. Hans Smitt was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 60th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. 62 minutes into the match, FC GILSAA's goalkeeper Cenk Senih had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ahmet Efe Suheyl. Alisson Becker made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Ted in the 64th minute of play. After 64 minutes of play, FC GILSAA's Cristian Ted made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alisson Becker was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ahmet Efe Suheyl took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cenk Senih. Cenk Senih dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. FC GILSAA's Hagbart Mølsgaard was substituted for Jonathan Claris. FC GILSAA made a substitution. André Sünram replaced Torkild Skøt. FC GILSAA's Miguel Baumer got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, FC GILSAA's Cenk Senih got control of the ball when Ahmet Efe Suheyl tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 80th minute, Jacobo Galoer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 80 played minutes, FC GILSAA's André Sünram shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Alisson Becker came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC GILSAA reached it. Real Juniors made a substitution. Miguel Ángel Benito replaced Ahmet Efe Suheyl. Real Juniors's Alisson Becker played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hagbart Mølsgaard in the 85th minute of play. Miguel Ángel Benito blasted a shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cenk Senih having to make a save. FC GILSAA's Cenk Senih proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save FC GILSAA from getting a goal against them. 89 minutes into the game, Miguel Ángel Benito cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Cenk Senih was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Real Juniors eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
