Saul Erauso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastian Kazczyk in the 3rd minute of play. In the 4th minute Real Juniors were awarded a corner. Roland Redondo went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Real Juniors's Roland Redondo to fire away a dangerous shot which Saul Erauso despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ahmet Efe Suheyl in the 6th minute of play forced Atlético Unión Florida's goalkeeper Saul Erauso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 9 minutes into the match, Atlético Unión Florida's goal looked a bit too open when Ahmet Efe Suheyl came free, but Saul Erauso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Saul Erauso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ahmet Efe Suheyl in the 11th minute of the match. In the 16th play minute Marteinn Palermo came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Alisson Becker. 1-0. Marteinn Palermo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 22 minutes, Cristo Bilintx mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Atlético Unión Florida and the Real Juniors players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Real Juniors booed when Atlético Unión Florida was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristo Bilintx didn't get a good kick on the ball. Saul Erauso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ahmet Efe Suheyl, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Atlético Unión Florida:s Saul Erauso showed great skill when he stopped Jerry Dhanabalan:s penalty. Jerry Dhanabalan took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Saul Erauso. Saul Erauso dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Rosario Cornett kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. In the 33rd minute, Venancio Musko got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Saul Erauso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmet Efe Suheyl in the 34th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marteinn Palermo got free with Alisson Becker in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Real Juniors's Alisson Becker proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Real Juniors from getting a goal against them. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

After some careless play in the Atlético Unión Florida defense, Sebastian Kazczyk kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Saul Erauso. The Atlético Unión Florida fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Saul Erauso should have stopped the shot. Alisson Becker showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marteinn Palermo in the 81st minute of the match. In the 82nd minute, Victoriano Edwardo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 83rd match minute, Atlético Unión Florida was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victoriano Edwardo to maneuver through the defense. Atlético Unión Florida's Saul Erauso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Atlético Unión Florida from getting a goal against them. Saul Erauso came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Real Juniors's Miguel Ángel Benito. But to his dismay, Miguel Ángel Benito quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Narciso Rufo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alisson Becker read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play. The Real Juniors players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
