In the 10th minute, Lucca Gol ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hickey Dunne was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. When Davi Vianna came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Monumento Sports fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Davi Vianna couldn't finish the play. Prishtina FC's Hickey Dunne proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Prishtina FC from getting a goal against them. Hickey Dunne was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Lucca Gol showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 18 minute of play. 26 minutes into the match, Prishtina FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lucca Gol came free, but Hickey Dunne reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 29 minutes had been played when some careless play by Monumento Sports's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel van Zwieten was slow to take the kick. During this time Prishtina FC's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Prishtina FC's corner Daniel van Zwieten fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Chaman Do Bonde quite easily take care of the ball. Chaman Do Bonde was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

In the 53rd minute there was a penalty for Monumento Sports. Davi Vianna stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Hickey Dunne. 4-1. Chaman Do Bonde made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Boiken Juniku in the 57th minute of play. The Monumento Sports fans' excitement grew in the 66th match minute when Monumento Sports's Lucca Gol looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 6-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 72nd minute, Boiken Juniku hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Monumento Sports's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Elias Olenberg in the 75th minute. In the 78th minute Lucca Gol shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hickey Dunne saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Davi Vianna in the 97th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hickey Dunne saved Prishtina FC from getting behind. Henrique Magalhães sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Monumento Sports's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
