In the 60th minute Atlético de Caracas were awarded a corner. Gabirel Caceo went to the cornerflag to take it. A well-hit corner resulted in Emiliano Sotil heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Real Juniors's defense didn't have a chance, in the 63rd minute, when Rolando Alley scored to the left of an out of position Alisson Becker, making the score, 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ahmet Efe Suheyl in the 67th minute of play forced Atlético de Caracas's goalkeeper Zarando Calva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 74 minutes into the match, Real Juniors's goalkeeper Alisson Becker had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tom Wassenius. Tom Wassenius could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Alisson Becker made a huge save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rolando Alley in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alisson Becker prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Atlético de Caracas's zone, Sebastian Kazczyk stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zarando Calva came out of the goal and Sebastian Kazczyk tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Atlético de Caracas's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gabirel Caceo in the 80th minute. The corner ended in Gabirel Caceo almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Real Juniors's Alisson Becker did a great save. 83 minutes into the game, Real Juniors's Ahmet Efe Suheyl nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Zarando Calva made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. Nazmija Stojković received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Alisson Becker tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 90 minutes, Ahmet Efe Suheyl managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Real Juniors's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ahmet Efe Suheyl was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 95 minutes, Nuno Santarém made it 3-2 with a short kick to the right side. Real Juniors's Alisson Becker tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The Real Juniors support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
