Santo Muno started the match with the kick off. Nilson Dracena showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santo Muno, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Jano do Vale hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Alejandro Bihar kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as SE Palmeiras's Christiano Baiano slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Carlos Mazuste. That made the score 1-0 after 14 minutes of play. Didi Ramos kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. In the 28th minute Santo Muno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nilson Dracena saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Candido Jenaro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nilson Dracena having to make a save. In the 29th match minute, SE Palmeiras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos Fernando Aparecido to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to SE Palmeiras getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. João Vítor de Almeida hit a great ball. Carlos Mazuste came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by SE Palmeiras's Basílio do Valle. But to his dismay, Basílio do Valle quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cayetano Cordarrel in the 41st minute of play forced SE Palmeiras's goalkeeper Nilson Dracena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Big Bang Team Jr.'s Carlos Mazuste proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save The Big Bang Team Jr. from getting a goal against them. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Basílio do Valle to make the kick off. With an all-out effort, The Big Bang Team Jr.'s Nilson Dracena threw himself towards the right post 55 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Santo Muno, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Alejandro Bihar kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Carlos Mazuste stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Basílio do Valle's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. Nilson Dracena made an important save on a dangerous shot by Candido Jenaro in the 64th minute. 71 minutes into the game, Basílio do Valle was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SE Palmeiras's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave The Big Bang Team Jr. the free kick. Basílio do Valle hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 73 minutes, Santo Muno took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Nilson Dracena to make any attempt to save it. Cayetano Cordarrel's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Nilson Dracena firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 87th minute, Alejandro Bihar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 94th minute Christiano Baiano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Mazuste saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the The Big Bang Team Jr. players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for SE Palmeiras.
