The referee ignored The Big Bang Team Jr.'s protests and gave Arnoldo Pinto a yellow card for diving instead. In the 19th minute, Arnoldo Pinto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 24thth minute of the game Raimundo Monteiro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but The Big Bang Team Jr.'s Carlos Mazuste was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Raul Quintan charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Raul Quintan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Sandro Santana scored 0-5 in the 37th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Carlos Mazuste, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-6 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

With a left leg Carlos Mazuste saved The Big Bang Team Jr. from getting behind. 75 minutes into the match, The Big Bang Team Jr.'s goal looked a bit too open when José Paulo Corrêa came free, but Carlos Mazuste reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Candido Jenaro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Raimundo Monteiro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Carlos Mazuste made a huge save. Donato Valle took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Candido Jenaro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Queluzito booed when The Big Bang Team Jr. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Santo Muno didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 93rd minute Raimundo Monteiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Mazuste saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Big Bang Team Jr.'s Carlos Mazuste played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raimundo Monteiro in the 96th minute of play.
