Jorginho Soares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edmund Dzierwa having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Internazionale-RS's Celsinho Britto got a free kick in the 9th minute. After 10 played minutes, Kosynierzy FC's Andrzej Rosiewicz shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Filipe Travassos came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Kosynierzy FC reached it. If Jorginho Soares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Kosynierzy FC's Witalis Arnista got a free kick in the 14th minute. In the 21st minute, Patryk Dejo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 23 minutes, Rodrigo Magalhães mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Internazionale-RS and the Kosynierzy FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Kosynierzy FC. 37 minutes into the match, Bruno Santana notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Kosynierzy FC's Edmund Dzierwa. Edmund Dzierwa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Internazionale-RS's Rodolfo Pontes was substituted for Luís Eduardo Figueiredo.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jorginho Soares stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 60 minutes into the match, Kosynierzy FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jorginho Soares came free, but Edmund Dzierwa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Jorginho Soares's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Edmund Dzierwa was relentless in the 67th minute of the game. If Jorginho Soares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 80th minute, Zbyszek Ptaszek hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kosynierzy FC's Edmund Dzierwa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jorginho Soares in the 82nd minute of play. Witalis Arnista sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 86 minutes into the match, Kosynierzy FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jorginho Soares came free, but Edmund Dzierwa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jorginho Soares in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Edmund Dzierwa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A sloppy throw-in by Rodolfo Pontes in the 93rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Kosynierzy FC's Mariusz Majorski. 93 minutes into the game, Mariusz Majorski was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kosynierzy FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Internazionale-RS the free kick. Edmund Dzierwa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jorginho Soares in the 95th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jorginho Soares in the 97th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Edmund Dzierwa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the referee ended the match the Internazionale-RS players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
